KEVIN KENNER and the PIAZZOFORTE STRING QUINTET
Kevin Kenner won the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw and received the Bronze Medal at the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow (1990). Mr. Kenner has since performed as soloist with world-class orchestras including the Hallé Orchestra, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Warsaw Philharmonic, the Belgian Radio and Television Philharmonic Brussels, the NHK Symphony of Japan, as well as the principal US orchestras. He records regularly for the BBC in England.

Grzegorz Frankowski, double bass player and leader of Piazzoforte, is the author of many original musical projects exploring tango, jazz, and classical music. Piazzoforte received a Polish Grammy Fryderyk 2006 as the best recording of chamber music.
